BRAVAT MINA™ SENSOR LINE

Bravat Mina™
Technical FAQs

Commercial solid-brass touchless faucet with infrared AI sensing, adjustable detection, AC/DC power and automatic valve control.

✥ Sensor Commissioning Procedure? +
Commission the infrared sensor after the basin, countertop and surrounding surfaces are completely installed. Confirm reliable hand detection and adjust the sensing field where basin geometry or reflective surfaces affect activation.
◇ Operating Water Pressure? +
The Bravat Mina is specified for approximately 0.5–7.0 kg/cm², or 10–125 PSI. Flush the supply piping before connection and verify stable dynamic pressure during commissioning.
◯ Commercial Flow Rate? +
The current Mina commercial specification lists approximately 0.75 GPM flow performance. Inspect the outlet, inlet strainer and available supply pressure if flow becomes restricted.
↻ Automatic Shutoff Function? +
The electronic control is factory configured with an approximately 30-second automatic shutoff. This helps limit unattended water discharge during continuous sensor activation.
⌁ Adjustable Detection Zone? +
The infrared sensing distance can be adjusted during commissioning. BathSelect lists the factory sensor position at approximately 4–5 inches, allowing adaptation to different lavatory configurations.
⌂ Valve Protection System? +
A water-resistant solenoid enclosure protects the electronic valve assembly, while the built-in serviceable strainer helps prevent supply-line debris from entering the solenoid.
⚡ Power Supply Options? +
The Bravat Mina supports AC/DC operation, including DC6V battery power and an AC supply configuration. This allows installation in both new commercial projects and retrofit applications.
⌕ Routine Maintenance Requirements? +
Periodically clean the infrared sensor window and outlet, inspect the inlet strainer, check supply connections and confirm complete solenoid shutoff during scheduled commercial maintenance.

5 of 5 Flow Stability Sunday, May 3, 2026
Reviewer: Nathan Collins, Systems Engineer from Dallas, TX
Before upgrading several executive office restroom facilities between 2023 and 2025, older motion faucets repeatedly developed unstable shutoff timing and inconsistent sensor response under continuous usage. After deploying 14 units of the Mina Motion Faucet, long-term operational reliability improved noticeably. The faucet maintained stable infrared responsiveness during repeated activation cycles, while the exterior finish resisted spotting and cleaning-related surface wear substantially better than previous designer fixtures. Water flow also remained smooth without excessive splashback or irregular interruption. From a technical operations perspective, valve timing consistency and infrared calibration remained highly uniform throughout all installed units. No major servicing beyond routine inspection has been required.

Reviewer: Harrison Cole, Engineer from Fort Wayne, IN
When we requested clarification regarding warranty coverage for electronic components, the manufacturer responded quickly with detailed documentation instead of generic answers. That level of professional support gave our engineering department confidence before specifying these faucets across multiple office buildings.

While motion sensor faucets are widely available, only a small number of them have this caliber! The response of the sensor is remarkable. The faucet functions flawlessly. Excellent stuff; we endorse it.

Since our community building was undergoing renovations, we bought four of these Bravat electronic faucets. The product is composed of premium materials, and the pricing was fair. All is well with it. We would advise against it.
